An organisation that offers resources to couples, individuals and families to help enhance and support relationships. The page above deals specifically with step-families, however, there are many useful sections at this site relating to a number of issues that may be relevant to classroom situations.

www.practicalparent.org.uk/ - A free one-stop resource for parents and professionals wanting tips and support on child behaviour, development and family relationships.

http://www.familyrelationships.gov.au/ -- An excellent background resource for teachers and parents with sections on coping with divorce, step-families, coping with change and so on. Much of the information deals with adult relationships, however, there are some interesting sections that explain how to guide children through difficult aspects of relationships.

www.familieslikemine.com/ - A website providing support and information for gay and lesbian families. Suitable for young adults but not young children.

www.familymanagement.com/ - A useful family resource with articles on a number of areas such as dealing with grief, relatives, explaining disasters and so on.

www.kidshelp.com.au/ - This site provides support for a 24 hour help line for kids - 1800 55 1800. It contains information on bullying, domestic violence, problems at home or at school. The website contains important information on why children call the help line and provides a list of services and useful authorities for further contact.

www.familieslikemine.com/ - A website providing support and information for gay and lesbian families.

www.itsnotyourfault.org/ - Practical information for young people and parents going through a family break-up.
